Kristoffer Ajer’s second goal in as many matches earned Brentford a point they more than merited against Manchester United on Saturday evening.
The away side took the lead against the run of play six minutes into added time - substitute Mason Mount sweeping beyond Bees keeper Mark Flekken - but Ajer converted Ivan Toney’s cutback three minutes later in a dramatic finale at Gtech Community Stadium.

But what is the point of analysing any game ever if the response is always gonna be they didnt deserve to win because they didnt score goals. It makes no sense. Tell me what more a team needs to do(other than scoring)then brentford to deserve to win a game. Missing chances is a factor but surely it doesnt account for much because there are other factors

@@BridgeStamford they had 2.5 xg. When it comes to chances you would probably rather rely on stats rather than your eyes and they hat the woodwork twice btw. And if you don't believe me, the fact is that manure had barely any chances anyway(0.5 xg). This game doesn't even have anything to do with my narrative. I just used it as an example. The point is if any team has more chances and better overall statistics and looked better on the eye, why woupd they have a worse performance? The chances missed are a negative but surely everything else accounts for much more

All the things that went our way last season seem to be somewhat absent this season, we did get a draw vs a supposed top team. Very disappointed with the chance conversion though, should have won that game. Toney is now the most wasteful striker in the PL in XG to conversion ratio, still wouldn´t part with him 😀.
