i really like this video. Because i knew and experienced the sacrifice. I had sacrificed for one year to focus completely on learning English. i quit my job, i didn't spend time watching movies, music and going out. i could count how many times i went out of my house. I had spent 12-14 hours per day learning English. i couldn't make a sentence and pronounce a word correctly. i overcame that hard time so i know that feeling. I can't say that my English is really good but i can basically communicate with others in the different countries. I can learn English by watching videos in English. i also took a Toeic test and got 745 score. That score isn't so high but i'm satisfied with it. I had to do more than others because my starting point was lower than them. i still keep on listening to English videos every day although i have to work. But i will try to touch English as much as i can. Hope you guys do it too.

Very inspiring story A.J, Thank you for sharing it with us, ... I went thorough a similar experience, however, instead of getting pissed off by mosquito hovering around, big rats were jumping on my body while I was sleeping in the beach. Fortunately, it was for few days. :)

I think another useful tip is to only focus on one type of English, whether British, American or whatever. It's like building the foundation for something new. You can't get it mixed by a variety of different types of things. You can focus on American English until you're quite familiar with it, then you can get exposed to British English or vice versa. What do you think, A.J?
