In this episode, M. R. Hari introduces Ajithkumar’s integrated farming method. Adopting a few of the Miyawaki principles of multi-crop farming, high-density planting of saplings and organic manuring, Ajithkumar is able to cultivate mangoes, coconuts and a wide variety of fruits and vegetables, and make good profit. The optimum use of space is evident in his use of the wire fence as a kind of trellis to cultivate passion fruit. The right methods of planting crops, irrigation, pruning and tilling, after calculating the path of the sun, have helped Ajithkumar make farming a very successful business.
