Hi Joy Amin, I do own older brother of this perfume called "Dahn Oudh Al Shams", almost same looking bottle but 30ml of volume and more mature version of Mukhallat Shams I believe. Oh man, I ned to get used to this one. Didn't like it for the first time but now I acquired it somehow. It's very nice and unusual, yet challenging. No florals, no nothing, just pure oud, fermented fruits and kind of aged blue cheese vibe. I still didn't dare to wear it (working in the office in Europe lol) but I like to have a whiffs of it at home because I find it so good now. It was quite expensive (around 90 eur for 30 ml here) but it's kind of ok considering there is some real indian oud in there. A masterpiece, but definitely not for beginners and designer fragheads.

I think the secret of feeling or getting the best of oudh it is to spray on fabrique and then wait few hours and smell it. You will become addcted. The other day I sprayed a fresh oud Indonesia on my arrm and on my sweater and even after shower the forest of beautiful burning woods with citrus keeps on giving gifts in the air from my arm amd my sweater smell amazing. I think oudh is a journee not a fast meal.

It's absolutely a niche and masterpiece, The smell at the opening is like the urine of a cow mixed with some florals but after an hour or so, the drydown is amazing and the sillage and scent trail is absolutely gorgeous although longevity for me is decent and not beast mode, there is another one name Oud al Shams and that is much more potent but that is even more challenging to rock, I only manage to wear it once during last winter.

This was my secret weapon to events people often ask my what I’m wearing but I rather not say it cause nobody know Ajmal lol I own all three of them. It’s one of my favourite among my collection. Now my 2nd bottle is half way I’m going to buy 2more bottle.

No Rose... I own it, it's beautiful but absolutely Oud and no Rose... That oud Smells like urine of a cow exactly because I have cows in my farm. I only manage to use it once, once sprayed leave it for an hour and after that it leaves a beautiful scent trail but it is the most challenging and skanky oud I have ever used.
