Ajmal W series - Hatkora wood ! 1st impressions ! Beast mode citrus-sandal

Hatkhora is native to the regions of Sylhet and Assam to be more specific. The rest of Bangladesh do not know this citrus fruit as Sylhetis do. I'm not surprised Ajmal released this fragrance with Hatkhora, as the owners are of Assamese descent. If anyone was going to introduce this note, it was going to be them or Al Haramain (Sylheti owners). As a fragrance enthusiast of Sylheti and Assamese heritage myself, it was a cultural obligation to purchase this and I was not disappointed. Although the opening is way too beastly! This fragrance must dry down before contact is made with other humans! My overall verdict: 8.5-9/10

That's wonderful & informative too. Luckily I have it & wore once. I bought Hatkora Wood & Santal Wood last year on a fear that the W series may be discontinued. After your first impression I am of the thought to get a backup bottle of Hatkora Wood for its uniqueness. Thanks for the video..

Love from Pakistan. Great choices. Ihave a question why do western reveiwers dont go for these type of frags? All i see is hype and blindly following one another. Although some reveiwers are great like chris from scent land,Cubaknows,fragrance matt,lanier smith, kristo maviss and dracdoc while the rest are just ok reviwers.

I tried patchouli wood it’s strong dirty and nasty ! Real Oud smells are like that actually! My favorite is amber wood u should try it! If it had a lil more projection it would ve been one of the best

I love a lot of Middle Eastern fragrances and probably have more than 100 bottles. I have three Ajmal fragrances and...well, let's just say none of them are very likable. For the western nose Adjmal perfumes, et el are very strong and unusual scents. I own several Adjmal fragrances and they all come on like a freight train. I use just a slight spray long before I plan to leave the house so it has a chance to dry down before I go. With Adjmal a little goes a very long way. I am hesitant like you to buy this without smelling it first.

Hatkora/shatkora is not middle eastern fruit,it is grown in Barak surma region of northeast bangladesh/india.sylhetis are ethno cultural indo-aryan group.Hatkora is a citrus plant,and I have many farms of hatkora plant.we also have delicacy like Hatkora Beef delicacy.

As always a delight to watch you. BTW, Nikhil have you received sample from babbs (you might be a lucky one) .. if so, please review that as well. Just yesterday, I got Surrati's Tobacco Vanilla Oudh .. from Sikandar .. but frankly I didn't smell any tobacco in there, it was all just vanilla .. may be my nose is damaged :). I am waiting for babbs's sample, hopefully a strong tobacco note in there. Do suggest a juice which has got a strong and dominating tobacco note. Cheers and have a great day

I share your experience with Surrati Tobacco Vanille, however i feel the vanille here is more pleasant and creamy and not powdery like other vanille.. Tobacco is very mild which i don't get.
