Cooking Huge Amount Of Food in Ajmer Sharif ki Badi Deg is world's biggest vessel is placed in Dargah Ajmer Sharif (Khwaja Moniddin ki dargah, Ajmer, Rajasthan)
It is made almost every day and 4800 kg food is cooked in it and distributed free to everyone who visits here.
The deg (vessel) is made up of seven metals in a ratio that keeps the vessel cool from upside while cooking food with full fire underneath.

Descending a man by a wooden ladder into Deg is not a good way of taking out meal out of DEG.There are very blacksmith's specialist are available are available. so why a small chain crane is not installed in the center right above the DEG for taking meal out of deg? Tabrruk could be taken out cleanly by this crane. Rather, with a little innovation, such steel spoons can be installed in the crane, which could also stir the meal for cooking in a healty atmosphere. At least steel spoons and ladders can be used for all cooking process. Management should think to put better image to non Muslims.

Faith should enlighten us, not make us blind to the obvious. All religious institutions, especially the well known ones get uncountable amount of money and resources as donations. Yet, only very few use them to build systems and upgrade and streamline the overall inventories and logistics. And this goes for ALL religious and faith based institutions. Yeh degh bani thi beete huye zamaane mein with applied sciences and immense foresight. What are we doing today to carry that legacy forward? Nothing.
