I don’t know if I will ever get tired or bored listening this extra ordinary Kaushiki ji...I was fortunate enough to go to stage when she was in San Jose yr ago and let her know that my father in heavens would be ecstatic if he ever heard her “ payo ji Maine ram.....” on you tube..that was my dad’s favorite Bhajan ,I grew up listening ,when my dad would sing to friends and family,all the time...hope Kaushiki would return in Bay Area soon..

Nice thoughts. 👍 You can still learn classical music. There's no age to learn or practice your hobby. Your parents are also right for you because being an artist as a full time career is a really hard thing. You depend on concerts and singing opportunities to earn your living or get recognition and the fact is that an artist gets his/her recognition or a financially stable life very late in life. Some artists don't even get that recognition in their whole life and their life is very struggling in respect of earning a livelihood. It is always better to pursue music along with doing other academic qualifications too.(back up option). I think you should start learning music if you are really passionate about it. 👍 In past many years, the artists had to lead a very hard life specially classical vocalists, but nowadays I feel that the condition of artists is getting better day by day 😊🙏
