So basically, last year was rough and world's smallest violin spoke to me and helped me get through things. I knew of a couple other songs of this same artist. My absolute favorite thing about this video is how pained Jack looks the whole time. Like he's not just singing the songs, he's feeling them the whole entire time. You can feel the origins of all the songs colliding, and it's the relatable energy that's so hard to put into words, which is why when they all come together at the end, it's ugly cry-worthy powerful. At the end especially. I love whenever they are playing they're really feeling the music and how you can tell they're concentrating so hard. Either that or they're pretending it isn't effortless for an effect (which is likely since they're so talented)

The song itself is so epic, it first plays out like a tutorial on the rhythm, the paces to patterns of synths with vocals and clips of distorted or effected voice with enjoyable sounds. I still don’t understand why people hate AJR so much. They are so creative and try fresh ideas
