As obscene the whole ordeal is, he's not wrong! Look, way too many of those so-called rappers crawling around thinking that they pick the forbidden fruit from the Hip-Hop tree. It's Bling-Hop. But every genre has their least favourite patch-ons. In Metal, it is Metalcore. In Hip-Hop, it's Abu-Dhabi Viuviuvi Bling-Hop. Kids barely got taste in art anymore. Parody took precedence in virtually everything, and celebrating something that's only slightly short of lunacy. Not ashamed to say that. It'd be hard to explain to kids nowadays why groups like C+C Music Factory were solid back in the days. But kids will be kids, and they'd have to make their own groups, circles, and stuff they attune to their generations. They can't live in the shoes of the older generations, but they should at least have something of quality. Hip-Hop was on a downspiral ever since 2Pac was off the scene, and that's some hard truth. Sometimes, a good rapper might start a career in the hood, but the way media works nowadays is basically making the clowns famous. True talent & expression is rare. Singing, and I use that loosely, about diamonds, gold, riches, chicks, cars in the past 30+ years, and get stuff like "This is innovative" in some articles or by some posers is basically so contradictory that it's like saying "obscurity manifest".
