Sadly this is a losing battle.. inside PSA port are littered with rubbish like tissue and single use plastics by port workers.

Nice job guys, used to fish there... if you notice that there’s a short sandy beach as you walk into the jetty. I used the surf cast with prawns as bait... and reel in slowly... skipping/bouncing off the sandy sea bed...I can get baby snappers about palm size. Now sure if that area is open or protected these days.

Hi there, thank you for your concern. These fishes in the video are called Yellowtail scads, Selar papan & Kuning. They do not grow bigger than 30cm. They do have a season as well where they come in great numbers. That is when anglers that uses Rod and Reels tried to catch them at this jetty and some other spots in Singapore. Do you know why a good number of people like this video? It is because they are more open minded. If you are very concern about fish stocks, kindly start with the drift netters that can easily wipe out a school of scads. I hope you learned some stuff today.

That's jetty can occassionally be too crowded but can be very productive as well ,ived seen a few mackerel runs where foul hooking was a method employed by some caucasian kid works well.
