Seeing how you handled the armor in the beginning like it’s nothing that’s probably polyethylene based armor or you have really strong arms. Stuffs extremely gucci. You can swim with while wearing that stuff in full battle rattle but it’s kinda hard since movement restriction of body armor and stuff like ammo being too dense to float

Edwin sarkissian. The vest is only made to be used once hit. You take it off if needed and run after you survive. Most vest are compromised after the first couple shots fired at it.

I mean, yeah ideally. But that's why the US military used steel for so long. They want plates that can take multiple rounds at close quarters. The very first shot here would have still killed a human just from the force and back face deformation. You 100% would not be running away with a broken sternum and pieces of ribs in your lungs/heart.

That's the whole point of armor.. Sure you may get some blunt force trauma, but you will live.. That is waaaay better than have a hole in your body.. Also, irl, the shots will come from many many meters away, say a 100 or so, it'll have less impact.. Also, these plates are worn with a separate trauma reduction padding behind it
