Was this a surprise show? Had no idea about it. I bought tickets for the Oakland show on their new 2024 tour.

Does anyone know what that dude is yelling at about the 23 min mark? I couldn't make it out.

Im curious if you got permissions somehow to keep your video up? I posted the show in SLC and it was up for a couple days and then taken down saying the label didn't want it up and I got a strike on my channel. If there is a way I can get it back I want to. Any help is appreciated.

Could be the recording, but I wasn't expecting him to be so flat on hitting notes all night. Hoping it was just an off night.

Was this your first live show?!.part of the reason to hear live is the "real"thing,YET THIS IS FAR FROM A REAL LIVE BAND.the vocals are meticulously well produced,AND he,s singing along to all prerecorded music as well they just play/sing on top of the tracks...like most big acts.who ever wrote this seems to have never heard "live" music...you should stick with knowing nothing . Yer great at it

@@marcdenhartog9697 Awe sweet heart... you played all your cards. Unfortunate. Listen, I'm going to help you out. You certainly feel like you know so much, and that makes you feel important. It's cute. And you also assume I know nothing. Allow me to bring you down a few notches. I've been a live musician, professional, for over 30 years. You know absolutely nothing about my musical training or expertise. If all you came to do was make yourself feel better, might I suggest trying anything other than speaking on the internet about people you know nothing about, attempting to insult their intelligence, all while typing in what would appear to be completely broken English. You look like a complete fool. I'll say it again, he was flat. That wasn't a shot at Chino. We all have off nights, and if he's touring, he's spent going night after night. Totally understandable. Which is why I said (I know, reading is hard) "I hope it was just an off night." Run along now. You've got some catching up to do. If you need a link to a quality Social Interaction course try a search engine near you.

@@marcdenhartog9697 it's electronic music, they can't play with a live band and keep the original sound of the music. if you don't like it don't go to their shows.

Going from a 5 man band down to 2? Yikes.

it’s called a side project. not even the same band but nice try lil bro

Hmm, looking at the live videos from 2014 I see a full band on stage with tons of stage chemistry and an incredibly talented bass player. If it's not the same band why do they share the same name? Thanks in advance. Best, Rosstacular@@kimdracuIa

@@Rosstacular you were so ridiculously inaccurate in how you described the situation that i literally thought you were talking about deftones! so what you actually meant is they went from a ***3*** man band to 2. which is vastly different from going from 5 to 2. so now that i’ve corrected that, i’ll tell you what happened since you chose to leave a lil smart comment instead of researching what happened. it was always just the 3 of them in the studio, never 5. their bassist left because he had other projects he prioritized. he wasn’t communicating nor was nearly as present as they needed him to be, and he chose to leave and they proceeded without him. glad to teach you something today! hope this helps!

Danggg you right. After some deep reflection I've come to the conclusion that this version of the live band is far superior. Who needs a human drummer when you can have a drum machine? Human bassist? Psh, just add some playback. Dedicated keyboard player? Don't even think about it. I look forward to when they can refactor out the remaining members through AI and playback.@@kimdracuIa
