Mr HomDepot , my point is that you cannot make unilateral assumptions about the aspirations of these young ladies!I assure you as a graduate of the University of Alabama myself, they have a fine education and oppotunities to succeed!Usually these fall yardshows are held before classes actually start, so they are not missing class, if that comforts you! Are you wasting your time watching " You-tube" while you should be concentrating on your job and family?!!

Well rule #1 is: Never tell anyone that u want to pledge because if that's found out your chances of getting in are slim. The best thing i could tell you is to do research on your future chapter and enjoy college, make friends and follow your heart. because mines led my to my sorors, skeee-wee. i hope i helped
@Khaotic0716 жыл бұрын
If you do not have the proper knowledge of an organiztion then you should just leave it alone. Your girl made a choice for her, not for you. It is like you want a woman who is torn down. The women of Alpha Kappa Alpha have paved the way for many to follow. Think before you speak.

Mr. Home Depot, This yard show was done two years ago on the campus of University of Alabama on a Saturday at 9 a.m. I think that they can afford to be away from their studies for just a while. Since you are a former Greek, you should know that not only do that have to meet a certain GPA but that have to maintain one as well. You are CLEARLY on the wrong website if you want to know about their academic standings and community service projects.
@uniquesongstress17 жыл бұрын
I think that people are commenting on what you said, "Ifit the whole look" even if you didnt mean it that way,it does sound bad. Especially since so many people want to stereotype sorority and fraternity members. I do will wish you look in your sorority endeavors, but I will also say that discretion is the key. I know that you are proud of your choice but eveyone should not know what it is. That can get you into some trouble in college
@LadyK7317 жыл бұрын
I know I am going to get many negative comments on what I am about to say but everyone. I do not think(just my opinion) that the AKA's, Delta's, Zeta's, or SG Rho think they are better than one another. I think(again just my opinion)that each organizations is very confident. No I am not a greek I am just an African American female that respects any woman young or old that have pledged either organization.
@phillipg0717 жыл бұрын
I wish there were this many AKA's at Sam Houston. Writing a comment on youtube is not the way to express interest at all...it just pisses them off. At the same same time I hope the lovely ladies of these sororities excuse their ignorance because they really look up to you and and they MAY very well have what it takes to become apart of your organization. So hopefully you will tell them more appropriate way to express interest in your organization.

After watching both the Deltas and AKAs from U of A step on here, I can't believe there are people accusing Deltas of stealing steps and all that. Their styles are totally different, though they both did a good job. Of course, I'm somewhat biased (smile), but I will say this--I couldn't have done one step in those heels! I watch my sorors step in them and say the same thing. I'll give y'all a lot of props for that.
@missekevu3317 жыл бұрын
nukethewhales1986 yea u have a rte to ur questions but u cant ask a question that has more to say behind it. honestly i think you just wanted to see wat ppl wud say but reguardless that mess is offensive[jus a question or not] african americans have this to show that we can do things to if ur example was enabled that wud jus fall into white privalage which they already have. nest time b4 u ask a ? make sure u do ur research b4 u start askin rediculous questions.
@GhanainShawty15 жыл бұрын
Ok there was a video with AKA's and i think it was unveiling but im not sure and they were outside in the day time. They started out in a straigt line. and all the girls were wearing jackets that were either pink or green. I cant find that video anymore, they did really good. If any of you know what im talking about can you tell me the title.
@kaleenasdiary16 жыл бұрын
I have sumthing positive to say as well as I have a question...I knw this is very old cause i practically watch it everyday but i just wanted to knw what was the first song in the perfomance called??? I really love the step and the dance...there is nothing wrong with you young ladies having much respect and confidence in yourself. SORRY BUT IM A SENIOR '13...
@MrDaniels200716 жыл бұрын
In what sense does an AKA step become more difficul than a DST step, dont get me wrong I love AKA and DST but you have to come to the reality that DST has perfected the step and style that lets them beat yall everytime not unless its a line that just came out. DST train harder when it comes to stepping,,,Ive seen and been to almost every step show and DST always come out on top.
@jbu3517 жыл бұрын
I'm a Delta and of course I love DST, but we need to act like the ladies we are supposed to be. If you are a soror, then you should know better than talking like this. I hate to down you on here, but come on. Represent the 22 ladies we are supposed to emulate. Make them proud by showing intelligence and sisterhood, not anger and foul language
@dstrac199616 жыл бұрын
Let me make this clear.....I DON'T REGRET A THING! It's so interesting that your members can post the most negative comments on every Delta post, but you can't take it. Grow up......and 3 day thing, tell your SORORS to stop complaining about their process, if it is not a fact.
@Khaotic0716 жыл бұрын
Hey...I was reading what was said earlier. It is great that you have your mind set and you know what you want to pledge. Learn history though...It was established by 9 women...the original 9 then came the sophmores...I'm not an Alpha Kappa Alpha, but I did my research..
@misslamonica16 жыл бұрын
I agree with all of my sweet sorors of AKA. However, the only great thing dst did was leave AKA because we rapidly got INC. as for dst was took you all so long? 1913-1930 and please don't say 1913 for INC. because that's a Lie.
@MissRoyalDoll16 жыл бұрын
dat screechin noise they make is almost as annoying as dat bark dat them Qs bein doin... if i had 2 pledge i would pledge delta... but im not even gonna lie, heffas is gettin it wit them heels on! much respect... :-)
@Khaotic0716 жыл бұрын
I am not a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha, but I am looking to become a member one day. If you really wanted to be a part of this elite organization, then you would already know the answer to that sterotypical question.
@paragons0017 жыл бұрын
wow. they look good. either there are no fat girls in their chapter or they were prohibited from stepping. can't believe the entire chapter is all skinny and cute. gotta be some outliers in that organization somewhere.
@ASHLEY1ANDERSON17 жыл бұрын
When you all step in the heels, your feet dont hurt while doing the steps? yall were steping pretty hard, and I said to myself, self I know their feet has got to hurt. But good job ladies.
@dstrac199616 жыл бұрын
misslamonica...leave Delta business and history to Deltas....you have enough to learn in 3 days, no need to try and add more pressure on yourself. We got this....keep it moving.
