As someone who EASILY gets bored with my hair but struggles with finances and experiments at home, I am constantly adding and removing color from my hair, cutting my own hair, and wanting different things. My family and friends always say "I thought you were gonna leave it alone for a while" yeah, I may have said that, but LISTEN, some of us say shit we don't mean when we want to spend less or protect the integrity of our hair until we get BORED or dissatisfied with our hair! Big deal. It's our hair.

what a coincidence... I just made the decision to bleach parts of my currently black hair (with a long hair dye history) tomorrow. I did two test strands from areas with different dye histories and they turned like a strawberry level 9 in the worst spots and a really nice level 10+ where my hair has never been lightened before. It will be crispy and break off in some areas but I'm sooo excited to tone it gray. Your hair turned out really nice!! Really makes me hope mine will too

I actually love the breakage in the back! Lol. I have my hair purposely cut like that because I’m still in my emo/scene kid phase at 32 & I don’t see myself growing out of it in this lifetime. My hair will forever & always look like it’s been put through a paper shredder & im okay with that. Gives it good body!

I stopped using effasol because it broke my hair using with water. I think it’s because I have well water and it changes how products process. Like 7 vol acts like 20 vol due to what’s left in my hair. I used color oops the other day to try and remove my well water staining. Nothing else was working. It worked, not 100% out but significantly less staining. I did a Malibu and an acidic bonding concentrate treatment. Then I toned the next day and did an olaplex treatment.

Those results were pretty damn good! I'm always so excited to see how you do YOUR hair. Not because I judge but because I love watching the process. Maybe it's cause I too love experimenting with my own hair. For instance, I recently had a similar situation with banding where I dyed over my roots that weren't lightened previously. Instead of fixing it I left it alone for a while then once my roots were grown out enough I just gave myself a short pixie cut. 😂 Anywho, can't wait to see the carrot copper. 🥕🧡

Oof gurl Effasol is maddening but works so well! I use the 10 vol with it too, but I also mix in some hair mask with it all and it prevents some of that breakage. This was the only thing that got arctic fox Transylvania out of my hair completely and it was so stressful with all the breakage 😅

I have been absolutely DEVOURING all your hair color remover videos and still so undecided on what I should use. I have half deep purple on top and black underneath. Not sure if I should use the good ole ColorOops which I have success in the past or try the Loreal one you used in this video. I have never tried it but unsure if itll be better for the colors I am trying to get rid of!

Always love your attitude. I am pretty much the same everytime I bleach or color remove my hair I am fully expeting the worse and say it is just hair and it will grow back. I rather loose it then be unhappy with what I have to avoid it. Also pusing it too the limits give you an oppertunity to learn what your hair can or cannot handle. After all you did to you hair you are fully aware and if you are ok with loosing it in the worst case scenario I see no reason why people should complain. For me I just love to see hwat things you do and I learn from that as well. Beside that I have the feeling your hair grows pretty fast as well like mine does too. Don't apologies just stay weird!

I understand why you do this. I'm not a Bleach fan. I got level 9 highlights on my level 4 dark brown hair. I liked the difference (first hair dye experience) but then i hated how it grew out and faded to a level 6-7 brown/bronze. I dyed it purple with manic panic deadly nightshade, violet night amplified and the other violet. The deadly nightshade and violet night turned my hair a purple black.

I just purchased all the products to remove my greenish blue so I can turn myself into a beautiful pink fairy, and then KZbin thought I must watch your vid before doing exactly that. 😂 I wanted to buy effasor, too. But the hairdresser store clerk recommended Schwarzkopf's bond enforcing color remover, since effasor tends to be extra drying. Tbh, I used effasor a lot and it always works absolutely magnificent, but yeah, it's super drying as well. So I'm really excited to try out this new product and to get my pink hair, cus I'm soooo done with this blueish mess I have now. Your hair is still fine and I'm surprised it's still alive. 😂

Haven’t watched yet but NOOOO. I liked this remover when i had HEALTHY hair bc how quick it was but once you’ve been coloring bleaching and removing colors for a while, it is NOT the move since it’s still a bleach based remover. It’s quite harsh

One thing to note that although this is available at Sally’s they only sell it if you are a “licensed professional” not to a “KZbin self taught professionals” that I jokingly call myself 😂 but they do have other ones that don’t require a license
