The music of a Genius! Many think there is a link with mathematics in this piece - timing, harmony, balanced equations etc ? It is a very complex piece but pleasing to the ears! There was no computers in Bach’s day - done through sheer love of music! I wonder if anybody will listen to some of the trash that is generated today in another 300 years? I doubt it! Fraser!

I studied this glorious work by the immortal JS Bach for O level, in 1964. Have listened to it many times since. So what a great joy to hear it again, played by two incredibly talented young Polish violinists, accompanied by a most accomplished orchestra from Krakow, one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. Natalia and Zuzanna - I am watching this in 2021. I wonder how much your remarkable musical skills have developed in these intervening 8 years. You and your fellow musicians are a great tribute to Poland. Thank you and We’ll done!

I once read a book which linked Bach music to complex mathematics like equations, calculus, fractals etc! The equations were all solved and balanced and would please a mathematics expert like the music comes to a satisfactory end leaving the listener with all he/she hears as resolved! All music has timings, pitch or frequencies, many dynamics like loud soft, aggressive, like a painters pallet with millions of paint shades at his/hers hand! I can’t remember the book title but it was very interesting! Any comments about this subject is welcome! Fraser/Elsa

This is an extraordinary performance. Bach is my first love, and I would rank this near the top, and I already have many favorites there, Heifetz/Friedmann, Menuhin/Oistrakh, but this is scintillating in so many ways and moments. In the Olympics of the Double Bach, we'd give this a 9.9 or 10. And from such fresh youth, teens? Quite remarkable bravura. Bravissima!
