Some of the people committing the crimes are between 18-24 in my state. Juveniles are getting hit with auto theft charges. I just don't understand why the young adults (18-24) are committing more violent crimes. My state is throwing the book at them when it turns deadly, but that's not stopping them from committing violent crimes.

It’s not uncommon for people to plead guilty to a crime without a plea deal and get a long ass sentence anyways. That’s probably why he took it to trial. It was a lose-lose situation.
