These folks have no idea they are watching the best reggae act in the world! They thinking this just some local roots outfit when Vaughn Benjamin the greatest thing to reggae since Bob himself. Its sad really. One thing I notice though. I watch Vaughn like a hawk. His energy is different now that Ron is gone. He has adjusted and adapted his energy to fill that void. He dances, laughing, smiling, working the crowd. It is a wonderful thing. What a beautiful experience captured here.

An elder with a Nyabinghi drum made a request to Vaughn that he would like to play with his band just once. I luv the fact that Vaughn granted him the request - on the tape at 17:56 where he announced the request: The elder came on set at track 21:08 - you will see him clearly at 38:00 - 39:55. It appears the elder stayed on the set playing his drum/percussions for the balance of the set. Much respect to mi mon Vaughn and his band for granting the request.

@@bryanwaters210 actually looked at the video again and it seems like there are more people than I first thought. Plus, if they were all inside it would seem like a full house. I've seen them quite a few times in Vermont also! Nectar's, Rusty Nail, etc. Loved every one of those shows! I live in Syracuse but I drive to Vermont to see Akae Beka. Btw, craziest place I ever saw them play in Vermont was at Mount Snow...Main Base Area... outside with people skiing up to hear them play! :D
