Com todo respeito que tenho por Vaughan e por seu legado, acredito que ele deve ser coroado como o maior cantor/compositor de reggae da minha geração e que merece reconhecimento muito maior. Mas essas analogias quanto as palavras ao contrario nao tem qualquer fundamento. O conhecimento dele e vasto apesar de carregar muito ressentimento racial toxico. É o que percebo em usuários assiduos da macaca verde peluda que deixa os mano chapado...chega uma hora que a sabedoria se mistura com brisa de doidão e encheção de linguiça. Rest in peace Vaughan.

Concordo com suas palavras referente ao talento de Vaughn e ao mais q merecido reconhecimento como o maior cantor de reggae da nossa geração. Porém, discordo quanto ao trabalho dele sobre as palavras e sobre o uso da erva pela comunidade Rasta e sociedade como um todo. Vejo as mensagens sobre as palavras como uma grande lição de Neurolinguística, assim como uma possível revisão da História humana através da etimologia das palavras. Sobre a erva, há usos e usos, e assim como tudo na vida, e há abusos também que podem levar a incoerências e contradições. Não por ser a erva, mas por ser um catalizador de informações e sensações como qualquer substância ....

E sobre esse "ressentimento racial tóxico", eu prefiro não aprofundar, pois além de discordar veementemente dessa visão sobre as ideias Vaughn (vejo ele fazer exatamente o oposto), creio que esse ressentimento ocorre na verdade quando a sociedade atual, que ainda colhe os frutos da ESCRAVIZAÇÃO de pessoas e do RACISMO, vê pessoas retintas com sucesso e denunciando com naturalidade estes arranjos de nossa sociedade e destacando o orgulho que se tem de sua própria subjetividade herdar esses traços. Que são, de fato, comprovadamente, a origem do ser humano enquanto ser social. O que é o caso dele e de todos os Rastas sérios, engajados com a verdade. @@Nkosi766 I respect that. It's less about scrabbling letters around to convince or persuade the public to eat up a word salad. However this knowledge is here. Regardless of religion, politics, nationality, it is a fact that certain words are made up in such order (not only in English) which inverted, yields another one. And the link between these two meanings is a bridge of communication on how both were used semantically, their connotation. It's not simple, actually, to catch it up, since the consequence (not necessarily the reason) of it is literally to blur that gateway of such meaning (the bridge itself) subconsciously, and even cognitively.

Check original video instead. Link on the description. The "lettering" are simply credits for the Portuguese subtitles I work with. There are ones who are here for the message, not brother Vaughn Benjamin's idolatry. That's the case with my fellow Portuguese speakers from Brazil and worldwide who struggle ovastanding the message and may find them here. I wonder why an English speaking fake page who can already ovastand VB's work and message find it such a nuisance when the Man addresses specifically to international morality in a global community.
