One of my friends during college had one of these. He played it live and mixed it seamlessly with whatever DJ he was working with. It sounded amazing. He used woodwind sounds and synth sounds.

this thing is fantastic for pits, i don't think anyone ever intended on this replacing the real thing. it's just useful in certain situations. you have to learn or know the real thing before you can pick this up anyway.

I played trumpet, so I'm looking toward one of these for the fingerings. Will the trumpet fingering play all of the sounds, or is it limited to the brass sounds?

before 2:17 was oboe and after that was trumpet with mute.
