Mpc 60 mk2 don’t have the chip problem, it just not as beautiful as the mk1 in my opinion

@@DJROCKCEEENTERTAINMENT Peace fam so why did my 60II keep freezing up on me I’d have a sequence playing and all a sudden the it would freeze up beat still playing but when I press stop button nothing would happen so I would have to turn off the machine and restart it the blue mpc 4000 I also had would the samething when I would press for any other function buttons while the sequence was playing I sold both of them and kept my 3000 which gives me no issues and my 12 and 1200 that I’ve had for years .

My friend and I are still restoring a MPC60 mk2. We have problems with the floppy drive not registering on the display as working. Not tried a SCSI on it yet but may well have to. I was thinking of buying a MPC60 mk1 but if it's going to freeze when I sample then maybe that's the reason the seller wants to sell it?

Im having issues with the disk drive error code 08 even changed the disk drive same issue had 2 of each noe down to one mk2

Hi, I also have a MPC60 I for years now but after some time of not using this great machine I realized that as soon as I want to play a sound the machine freezes completely (+ no sound is playing). Do you think that it is caused by this chip or maybe there‘s a problem with the power supply? The rest of the machine works flawless and without issues. I am still loving it and want to keep it a long time. It‘s the best machine I ever bought and the core of my studio. Of course, it has maxed out memory and the Marion SCSI plus an external SyQuest 230 drive.

I have the mk2 and just bought new pad sensors and pads because the mpc keeps freezing up. After replacing, it still continues to freeze up. I dont know what the problem is

Hey all, my MPC 60II isn't necessarily freezing, but when i turn it on, none of the buttons or pads are responsive. It turns on but nothing else works, it just stays on the main page. Any help would be very much appreciated. much love

I have one and love it don't use often because of the usb floppy emulator I installed I don't like it. I am planning to install a scsi2sd but I don't find on the internet Wich version of firmware work with the mpc60 os 3.10. Do you know wich version?
