I havent seen the smack DVD but have seen a video on youtube him making a beat with some horn sample and this drum beat sounds just like it. Was the smack dvd the same video of him making a beat with a horn sample?

Biggest trouble with the new MPCs is that they don't sample up to 96kb. But I love having all the qlinks though.

Yeah it’s a shame about the sample rates and stuff but the system and stuff on the x is decent I like it still

Get a z8 they fjn bang and is kinda similar to the X with some features. Most of all, it's the rack mount of the 4k

The MPC X is more Hifi. It's cleaner sounding.
