I didn't really watch any Shippuuden 'cause it didn't really resonate with me. I realized it's because Shippuuden fights don't happen on the human scale anymore. When giant summoned creatures are firing lasers and taking out acres of land it just doesn't feel as cool as one dude taking out a bunch of people.
