Excellent video. Akamine Sensei is clearly an extremely skilled karate and kobudo sensei. I am so honored to be a part of the Ryukyu Kobudo Shimbukan and to start this new chapter in my life.

Exactly what I have understood from one year or so practising martial art. A journey within oneself. I am almost 40 years old and I am amazed about what I did not know about my body. Almost feel like a child trying to learn how to walk. In fact we do things but we for the most part I guess do not know really what we are doing until we feel them and pau attention to them. Then a new world opens up. Totally fascinating !

Thank you very much indeed, sensei!!! It was my privilege to take part in your seminars. You've touched the excellence and we're just dust on your feet. Well, there is always room for improvement!

Being taught his father's Nunchaku kata directly from him last month in Minnesota was a tremendous honor. He is such an amazing teacher.

Thank you very much Sensei. You brought great insights to this amazing martial arts. Also as Sensei Michael Hodge was visiting your dojo to bring us the ancient secrets to our Academy of GMAU. A Picture with you Sensei and Sensei Michael is hanging here on my wall at my Home Dojo to inspire me every day proceeding this way.

I see that Dream Metal Kobudo offers Akamine-approved weapons, could be worth checking out.
