I am from Abeokuta and my dad used to play this kind of music when I was growing up and I really love them. All his records were destroyed back in the 80's and I feel a terrible loss not having been able to preserve them. I am really glad you posted this. Please post more if you have them and point me to where I can purchase more.

The last I heard a rendition like this was on rediffusion on a program from NBC Imo Abeokuta in the 60's. You are insightful and May God bless you for this.
