the 1336 had some opening knowledge, from my limited experience people above 1100 start having some opening knowledge, before that it's random opening traps, moving the queen 20 times in a row or trading everything so you can't lose (or win)

Just for the record, in game 5, Nf6 for black in the Sicilian is Hypermodern & was pioneered by Aaron Nimzovich & appeared in his My System 1925, but with the move order 1.e4 c5; 2.Nf3 Nf6. I played this, & won, in a correspondence game some years ago. Note the similarity to Alekhine's Defence.

My guesses (I’ll add to it as the games go): Game 1: 880 (felt more like 900 than 800) Game 2: 1300 Game 3: 1550 Game 4: 1800 Game 5: 700
@haveaniceday31282 жыл бұрын
Also why was the third opening so bad? It seemed like a person who stonewalls
@oyvismoe2 жыл бұрын
@@haveaniceday3128 It's bad because black blocks their knight and light-squared bishop, and doesn't grab any space in the center. Not to mention the early queen attack which threw away a tempo and only helped white.
@haveaniceday31282 жыл бұрын
@@oyvismoe “Theoretically”, in the stonewall the light square bishop either fianchettoes or goes from c8 to d7 to e8 and then to either g6 or h5. Also the knight can go to d7. At least that’s what my book says but whatever
@oyvismoe2 жыл бұрын
@@haveaniceday3128 Yeah that's true. Although, the stonewall begins with a pawn in the center grabbing space. The way this guy played it wasn't very good, because he can just be run over. You're right though, it could have been worse (not the queen attack, that was the worst).
