Sure seems to have some sapphic time travel vibes, reminds me of puella magi madoka magica. Anything to it, haven't watched this anime?

Yep it very much has sapphics and time travel, and a pretty dark vibe kinda like PMMM, tho it also has some differences to Madoka Magica. The basic premise is basically the good old “assassin falls in love with their mark” trope, but there turns out to be a lot more to it than that, which I won’t spoil cause cause the reveal is even better when not expected.
