Yeah, but the AKASO is good enough, has accessories which you can pay hundreds or even 1000€ to get them for the go pro. The go pro is also overpriced. Well, it has better quality and better image stabilisation(but it changes the colours of objects too much, while the. AKASO doesn’t) but it’s logical because of the price difference. But the fact that the AKASO comes with accessories is a big plus.

GoPro all the way! The Akaso is great for the price. There's no way to complain about that great quality for the price, but in this case you really do get what you pay for. The GoPro really does seem worth being 2x as much for the sound, image stabilization, and recording quality. If budget is a factor, go for the Brave 7LE, if budget is not a factor, go for the GoPro.

In the cycling comparison that 7LE doesn't even look like real 4K when it's side-by-side to the Hero8, that thing is so much sharper, smoother and wider.

It has other benefits too because it's a gimbal but the size and shape is a bit of a drawback at times. But half the price of the Go Pro so I can live with that.

I think the GoPro's colors are more brilliant. The white water, going over the falls, looks to have a gray tint to it with the Brave 7. Also, looking at the clouds, near the end of your videos, the Brave video looks kind of dull compared to the GoPro. For the money, you are getting a lot of camera with the Akason Brave 7 LE. Very informative and well done video. I'm keeping my Hero 7 Black. Barry

7:28 - you can see every piece of aggregate in the road, with the GPH8. The Brave appears to be smoothing it. GPH8 is slightly more exposed and the blue channel is way more saturated.

I have watched this video more than once, and realised what I had previously missed; At times, this 7 LE's camera processor must be on 'go-slow.' I have looked closely, and noticed that while travelling, especially on a bike, it struggles to process the data of what it sees, and leaves things like road surfaces, treeleaf data, and roof tiles un-sharp, and smooth. Plus I can see the images are still seemingly being processed 'after' passing what is there.

I have to say, The high framerate test wasn't good for the Akaso, but I much prefer the colour science overall, and its softer contrast makes for a much more filmic look. Especially the way it renders the pavement. It looks like detail is still there, just less contrasty, which is also what film does to detail. The GoPro has more of a cheap and cheery phone camera look to the colours, where there's an unnatural amount of colour in the highlights. especially in the sky. Which one am I going to buy? I already bought the GoPro.

When you did the audio text the Brave 7 looked great. Cell phone quality footage. But when you did the 4k 30fps test. The brave looks rough. Like it was filmed in 1080 and upscaled to 4k.

The Akaso Brave 7 LE is a bit laggy when there is a lot of sudden movements going on. The difference in quality also becomes more apparent the higher resolution you go. You get what you pay for which isn’t that much.

Strange, to my ears the sound of the LE was warmer and more natural, and the GoPro 8 a bit sharp and metalic. Stabilization was better on thr GoPro. Colors on the LE are more natural, the colors of the GoPro were much pumped-up and over saturated, blue is way to blue and green is way to green. I would go for the Akaso Brave 7 LE.

Thank you for your comparison! I had ordered the Crosstour CT9700 but then saw a review and the audio was terrible! So I was able to cancel that order. The sound on the Brave 7 LE is very good but I'm sad at image quality in the fine details. Many times I could see details in the pavement of the street or sidewalk on the GoPro that I could not see in the Brave. I am really looking for a better action camera than the Brave 7 LE but I don't want to pay so much for the GoPro. Any ideas?

Biggest problem with Akaso is that there is no quality control and there is no support. They may have given you a working camera to review. But the poor suckers who watch this and buy an Akaso may not be that lucky. With GoPro you can be certain that you get a camera that works and you get support.

Here on the phone the Akaso sounds much louder and more clear but the GoPro is more sensitive in the sound department and picks up quieter sounds better and image stabilization the go pro seems a little more stable but all around the Akaso is an amazing way to start say a KZbin channel

the Brave6plus is not even available, our best bet to get the Brave7LE is probably Amazon but be prepared to pay a hefty tax if the item would find its way to your doorstep (mga magnanakaw sa customs)

IMO, the GoPro is definitely worth double the money here. Maybe if this was ~$50-60 then you could argue that it's cheap enough to over look the quality difference to the GoPros but not at it's current price. And even if you really can't afford the Hero8, just wait a little bit and the Hero9 will be out and the 8 will drop in price or look for one on the used market.
