I received this for being with my company 10 years. Well I really like it. I use it on my motorcycle and another mount I placed on my car dash board. Good stability and records music from my car making the videos more fun. Extra batteries and a charger cost $14 and another accessory pack with chest strap an selfie stick an 10 other things cost $22. Sound with water proof case on is not good. Night lights glare a little on the video more than I like. Well now I want another to mount facing back on my vehicles. Its interesting to see the things I didn't notice while driving.

Very good information. May I make some suggestions? 1. More and more people are using action cams as USB webcams. Can you include this functionality in any review? 2. When you showed 'low light' capture you showed medium to long distance subjects. Could you include close subjects under street lights or torch light. Also indoors with electric lighting. 3. Further to using these types of budget action cameras as webcams, can you demonstrate what the maximum resolution you can get via USB and camera monitor for PC capture, rather than 'in camera' capture. It maybe that people consider buying action cams as security cameras / pet cameras / door entry cameras or even Vlogging / KZbin ASMR cameras. I have a cheap nasty $5 action cam 720p it is truly awful as a general purpose camera.. it works great as a wireless door entry camera.

Thanks for this wonderful detailed explanation. ! I'm a biker and as you have mentioned,this camera doesn't seem to have image stabilization. Else l would have bought it. I don't think it will record clear stable videos while riding a motorbike on Dirt tracks ,as l could see shaky videos on other channel videos too. Don't get this camera. It's been many years since it was released. You are better off getting a gopro 7 or Gopro 8 for good stabilization

Hello I just purchased an EK7000 for use in and around a helicopter and haven't quite figured it out yet. I see holding the front power button turns it on but after some time the screen then goes blank or off. Is the camera still on? I want to set it up out of my reach in the helicopter and activate it remotely with your little red or grey button. I can't reach and turn it on each time. Sometimes it will be mounted outside. Secondly the mode button scrolls though a few types of shooting but once it hits VIDEO 1080P, how do I change that to a lower resolution video? That's all for now. Thanks and regards

I have seen this for sale on amazon. I have a garmin stem mount with a go pro adapter mounting on the underside of the mount. Does the action camera need to be in its case to be mounted on this mount. Of does the camera need to be upright.
