considering the price, Akaso seems to be not that bad. I just got it and was actually considering GoPro9, but after all the negative reviews of GoPro and what i need the camera for, i stopped at akaso.

I saw it reported that the Akaso 4K is not genuine but interpolated and that it has no EIS. The EIS only functions on the 1080 HD mode, it would have been good if you had shown this setting as well alongside the GoPro footage. Thanks for posting.

I don’t know what camera that is but that’s not an AKASO 700 pro I have this camera and it doesn’t look this bad

I don’t know, did you turn on the video stabilization on the Akaso? When I have rhe stabilizer on it isn’t one bit jumpy. This appears to be recorded without the stabilization turn on.

Кроме не включенной стабилизации, автор ролика включил угол охвата medium, a на go pro стоит примерно 170-150. Нужно было для точного сравнения ставит wide или super wide. Кто знаком с фотографией, при большем угле охвата камерой глубина резкости увеличивается. А так в целом молодец, good!

Да ещё забыл, там в комментах был вопрос о гнезде для микрофона. В инструкции к EK 700 pro сказано, что микрофон подсоединяется к гнезду зарядки micro USB очевидно через переходник.

I went back and reviewed the settings... never turned on Stabilization......wondered why it was shakey !!!! for $50.00 Hell Yes... I have one. and a v50 pro

Are both cameras mounted in the same way? Feels like one is mounted on the bike and the other mounted on the rider??? Or is that the difference in stabilization?

Hey thanks for the video. I'm considering buying an action cam. But the zooming between the two in your video is different (starting @3'42'')/ the GoPro has a wider angle than the Akaso hence the defects on the Akaso are more visible. Even if the difference is clear anyway... Just my two cents !

Yes, it looks like it is zoomed, however, the strange thing is that this is the default setting of the Akaso, so this is how it records from out of the box.

@@cameracaptain5189 Thanks Camera Captain. Just received my Akaso today and did a few tests underwater and some more 'dry' tests. So far so good. Just this little white haze problem than I am trying to solve with a carton cylinder around the lens. Beyond that, it is 5 times cheaper than the GoPro and it's worth buying ! Keep up !

Worlds apart, but why did you make the cheap one on purpose appear even worse? Video is zoomed on more and it's not aligned to shoot properly in front but slightly sidewards so of course it's struggling even more. Interestingly driving out of the garage 5:10 with harsh bright light ahead it did better

Aka so Pro I was highly disappointed when I used this on a 5 day backpacking trip in Costa Rica .. the videos were grainy and the pictures were horrible quality! Maybe the setting or something needed to be changed but save 80$ and invest it in a GoPro .. this felt like a toy very cheap plastic ..
