Thank you very much for your work. I was given 15mg of mirtazapine for akathisia and it helped me a lot for a long time. Unfortunately, I then made the mistake of increasing it to 30mg. That triggered the worst akathisia I can imagine. I have now slowly reduced the dosage to 7.5mg but I still feel terrible. Do I have to stop taking mirtazapine completely?

Akathisia is essentially caused by brain damage so it could only get worse. Save your brain and get off the meds asap.
