A well deserving tribute, and an immigrant story that needs to be told to many who leave for greener pastures, and still have passion for their home. One lesson that I also gathered was the trauma that may have kept building from years of being denied visas, the hustles of being married for papers, and the mental stressors of immigrants in the diaspora. I wish there is some attention paid to inner battles people face but fear to open up in public. i.e., compounding stress, depression, anxiety. Investing in mental health supports for workers across all sectors, and providing support to those struggling may help address some underlying needs. Thank you Kasuku and Spark TV + Akawungeezi for bringing us Mr. Ibrahim Tusubira's words which are very educative.
