My favorite scenes from this and the Kokushibo fight are not the actual fight scenes, but the emotional ones. The ones where it was Tanjiro and his father, and the ones with Yoriichi and Michikatsu. The way Comickey puts them together is absolutely wonderful and I can't wait for more of what he has to offer.

There's more to the story that the author couldn't fit so I will explain what happened and it's still canon! Feel free to give your opinions The heir to the dojo next door was the same as Koyuki. And he was in love with her but he had an extremely violent and arrogant personality. He can never sympathize with the physically weak Koyuki. He forced her outside when she was in bad shape and he got scared when she saw her starting to have asthma because of her condition. This fool had abandoned her when she was in pain and fled. If Hakuji/Akaza hadn't discovered her she wouldn't have made it. Keizou was angered by this so he arranged the match between the Soryuu Dojo in the dojo next door. Keizou went easy on them later but Akaza then 16, defeated nine people on his own. And he made them promise to never get involved with the Soryuu dojo and Koyuki ever again. The heir got angry and lost his composure. Then he swung an actual sword instead of a wooden one at Akaza. Akaza punch the sword from the side as it was coming down and it broke. The name of this attack was "Bell Crusher" and it was the one attack he was best at. The dojo next door was moved by the beauty of this technique, they accepted their loss, and apologized for the rudeness of the heir. After a few years the dojo the next door stopped existing but the heir heard of the arranged marriage Akaza had with Koyuki. So he gathered some angry disciples and fought Akaza but they lost. That's why they poison the well. The old lady living on the other side spotted the heir and his disciples leaving their dojo when they finished. After drinking the poison Keizou held his daughter and ran to the doctor's home as he spitted blood. Sadly Koyuki doesn't make it as she was already gone. But it took several hours for her father to finally pass away. He suffered for a long time. And you know the rest after Akaza learns his future family's untimely farewell. And as for the heir, well he was there when Akaza went berserk and made everyone into a hashtag. He too became a chalk outline... In the end Akaza got his justice.
