A simile is a comparison using “like” or “as”. Ex. She was cold like/as ice. I think the juxtaposition in this song is Lana saying she’s searching for something/someone real - yet the majority of the song is about her trying to be alone and in solitude away from the paparazzi. She says the inspiration of the song was it literally took her going to 13 beaches to find a place she could be alone and escape the paparazzi.

i love this song so much. the poetry of the lyrics is just way too well-written. The electronic sounds are representative of the paparazzi and their cameras trying to take pictures of lana when she just wants to relax on a beach hence why they don't belong.
