So back story to the whole beef with Nicki and Remy (if I'm missing any info feel free to correct me; I may come off as biased but I'll try to be as impartial in this as possible) On February 25, 2017 while nicki minaj was parting in paris remy Ma dropped the almost 7 minute diss track on nicki minaj Titled "Sheher". Ma has yet, to this day, been able give a conclusive explanation as to why she dropped the disstrack. In a recent interview she claimed it was due to "behind the scene struff" and that they both decided to never speak again, to which Minaj responded via 'The Shade Room" with "For the record I have never had this conversation with her" . The internet blew up, this is believed to be the start of the nicki minaj hate train. Nicki went a few days without addressing the song and on March 10, 2017 she released her single "No Frauds" along with "Regret in Your Tears" and " Changed it". The media was rather disappointed by nicki's reply to "Shether" as, to be honest, The bars flew right over their heads. Nicki continued to drop not-so-subtle diss lines here and there in her verses from that time period. As seen in featured verses like "Make Love" and "Realize". Remy's song started up the "Nicki Minaj Hate Train" and this event was further propelled by Nicki's feud with cardi B during 2018. It was overall not pretty and a very challenging point in minaj's career, she was black listed by radio stations, publicly bashed by award shows, and had an unslur of overall harassment and violence thrown at her. (unwarranted if I do say so myself) Here's my opinion on the whole thing: Remy Ma's diss track? I personally found it rather mediocre. a large percentage of the lines where 1. Body shaming 2. pretty basic womens hip-hop diss bars 3. largely composed of common social media rumors. It is also rumored that Remy was paid by her record label to drop a disstrack as 3 other female rappers under the same label came out and said they were offered large sums of money to do so. Cardi B is also signed to that label which sparks various other rumors. Nicki also referred to labels, this one in specific, creating an organized push to eliminate her from the music industry in her song seeing green by saying "No one b____ can be my opp that shit offends me, it's corporate giants and machines that went against me" No shade

I think there's a double entendre for 'back to back', my opinion. Explanation: Remy released the diss track SHETHER (pronounced SHEETHER). Nicki didn't respond immediately and so the following week she also released another diss track which didn't hit the way that SHETHER did. So the 'back to back, back to whack' could reference that, especially since Shether was supposed to be the shining moment and takeoff for her career. Anyone familiar with the track, let me know your thoughts.
