That depends on your age and the size of the boat. Inland water crafts are usually personal/family boats and any idiot can drive them with no license. But you have to have a license to catch a fish.

8:51 just so ppl know those out boards and IO have a rubber impeller that’s in a plastic housing with think layer of metal that the impeller sits in so more then a min running out of water with none going into pick up tube then you just ruined the impeller don’t care what nobody say it might last a short while but you just took most the life out of it. Or most time it just destroys them then your boat gonna run hot very quickly. Don’t believe me go research about it. So when you see that dude thinking he’s cool shooting water up in the air just know there a good chance they gonna be running there shit hot on way back. And for you IO owners out there the inboard out board that trim button say up and down only goes so high for a reason that button say trailer that trims up higher says trailer for a reason bc once you go higher then the up down button your getting your drive shaft and u joints all in a bind will it destroy boat probably not seen ppl do it before but is it bad for the u joints it sure is
