Okay. Before you read all of this, please be aware that I may be completely wrong and this may waste your time. When you go back to watch this for quite another few times and then you realise, from when nightmare explains why they did everything, this actually seems to show the revenge they wanted from their misunderstanding. Nightmare said that they only started doing stuff when dream started to get hurt because they didn’t see any other way to make dream stop the people. So from the way I took it while I was thinking about that episode (“We’ll be together” I think) (NOPE ITS: “If we together”) nightmare seemed to actually be insulting them because they thought that they had continued and I don’t even know if I’m wrong and I wrote all of this for no reason, MY FINGERS HURTTT.

Yeah Uh Not sure about video And so I don’t want to give too many spoilers But I can tell that Nightmare is like overprotective to Dream but at the same time he is the one hurting them There’s a thing I wanted to tell later, but I guess I can tell It now Soooooo Most of people thinks Nightmare is an opposite of Dream(idk why) It is not true in my AU Nightmare is a demon In my universe demons has to look like their “host” pretty much(not fully) Then again Nightmare is pretty strong demon but I used “host” not on accident So as far as we know that Dream is a host Nightmare can’t really leave him But If Dream dies - Nightmare dies That means Nightmare NEEDS to protect Dream for some reasons But Bc of Nightmare being demon he just have to be violent sometimes And he is always know when he need to stop torture Dream Something like that Its very difficult for me to explain It because I am not eng, so- I am sorry If It is messy or have many mistakes
