One of the many reasons I love Akira is that she doesn't put on that high-pitched voice that many Japanese girls use, and she also doesn't try to make her voice overly low-pitched in hopes of sounding like a man. Instead, she disregards any gender role of society, and her beautiful natural voice and natural self shines through, and she does not seem to be a fake plastic doll, as many others in the Japanese music industry.
