This is only one of a few songs I’ve heard with this specific beat. Since EDM is an umbrella term, it has quite a few different styles. Dubstep beats, Drum and Bass beats, House beats, etc. That’s not even bringing up the hundreds of other genres and subgenres, each with their own unique drum style.

Lenticular It sure isn't. It's dnb with a swing-ish rhythm. I shouldn't have to be specific because genre shouldn't matter in the long run, but do you hear how there are three bass stabs in the 4-step rhythm? Yeah.

It might be the fact that it's in a syncopated rhythm, which is usually in swing music. Idk, personally I hear some syncopation. \_'-c'_/
