Great Directors (Fellini, Tarkovsky,Kurosawa...are all visionaries. They are allowed to dream up the future before it happens. They TELL it. They are our conscience!

When seeing this omnibus, prediction of nuclear explosion tilts head, but when I remember Kurosawa work from the beginning, I think that this person was forecasting the essence of things with honest eyes. It was a samurai of seven I thought that the early work was just to repurish the western play, but the figure invaded by thieves in the village business shows the structure that financial capital infringes on production activities and living Like you can see. Finally, the word that the farmer is the strongest is still confronting the essence of things. Financial inequality depends on the role of economic convenience ,

It absolutely blew my mind when I heard that Kurosawa wanted to direct a Godzilla film but Toho feared the high budgets that accomanied one of his films and sadly never pursued the idea. Perhaps we are seeing some vague remnant of what might have been. The original 1954 Godzilla is still the best and treated its subject with a balanced seriousness without being the least bit preachy, but one can only imagine what Kurosaw would have brought to the series which slowly devolved into puerile drek that pandered to children. Kurosawa's Godzilla would have been epic and tragic.

+GREG FREEMAN This segment was directed by Ishiro Honda, director of the Godzilla movies. The mother with her two children is straight out of the original 1954 Godzilla.

ryou san 劇中でスーツの人が言ってたように、それが放射能だと分かるだけで危険性が減るわけではない 大気の流れに乗って僅かな呼吸で取り込まれる放射能相手にどうすることもできない
