@cloudyskye06 actually, yamapi went against the director and the writer about akira's supposed attitude. he said the real akira was boring and sometimes too serious and you can hardly differentiate akira with shuji , so he changed it into a funny, clumsy and energetic guy. every action he made was complete ad-lib! that's how talented he is!

Yamapi's such a good actor... People say he went from this to Kurosagi; well, yes. But he also acted in 'Stand Up!' & 'Sora wa, totsuzen, arashi no you ni' before Nobuta wo Produce, and both had him doing emotional scenes, moreso in SWTANYN. Yes, he's cute and all, but he does all of his work professionally and in interviews he's more quiet than most others. I like how he keeps his personal life away from his performances. People overlook his talent and just say how kawaii or kakkoi he is.

i love Yamapi ALOT in here, because compared to how his character was in Buzzer Beat he was always so serious and always had a content look on his face at all times. Its nice to know that he has a funny and playful side to him. And I think the flutter is really cute:)

When I first saw a picture of him as Akira (x_x Didn't know who he was beforehand), it looked kinda weird, so I thought he had a "bad boy" image. Saw this scene and I was like "zomg so cute!!.,s123123" :] His character got even more enjoyable as the drama went on.
