Akita and Leonberger Puppy going for a swim!

Teddy the Akita and Rosie the 4-month old Leonberger puppy took a dip today! Rosie was pretty good at getting Teddy to go in, he is normally not a big swimmer!

Love the breed name "Leonberger"! Excellent video of akita swimming: very typical- heavy in the water. They are actually rather lean dogs under their heavy fur, they lack the natural buoyancy of labs & water dogs.

Rosie was actually panicked, Teddy tried to comfort Rosie, but I feel like you were more paying attention to the camera then the dogs.. Some pack leader you are....

@Failed Society actually my dogs can go everywhere I go.. and I have some of them from birth, and some of them from shelters.. being a couple of years old..
