Is the same as? That is in fact the first scene of the first episode attached as the ending scene. You can see the newspaper boy a bit more grown up in the scene before (him and his small brother making fun of George ettan's lungi).

I can't remember how many times I've rewatched the whole series. Sometimes, I just play this in the background when I'm doing chores and it makes the time fly. I've probably never rewatched anything else this many times. I've rewatched them to the point where I've memorized almost all the lines and screenplay. Yet every time I hear a dialogue, it still cracks me up as if it's the first time I'm hearing it. Everything is just so incredibly relatable and funny. I don't think I've ever seen any acting more natural than what is offered in this series.. Katta waiting for more episodes with as many members of the original cast and crew as possible... Also would be more than happy to help out with any subtitle work

R.I.P. Kedaar Kumar (the genius who did the soundtrack of Akkarakkaazhchakal). I researched about him after seeing the tribute image at the start of the soundtrack clip. His untimely demise, at age 38, was due to heart failure. He was an alumnus and staff of the great Berklee College of Music. Pulli oru genius aayirunnu! We must all think of him, every time we hear the soundtrack. His contribution, gave the soul and life to this beloved series. His mom's Rathna Kumar, a professional Classical dancer, who settled in Houston. His brother's Chetan kumar. As recounted by his mother at the Berklee memorial service, Kedaar had asthma problems right from his birth. But his passion for music helped him overcome the hurdles and obstacles due to the illness. Nammalkkellaavarkkum oru nalla nostalgia music vazhi sammanicha Kedaarinu nithyashaanthi nernnu kollaam!

I've watched this since 2009 and rewatched it several times after that, but i'm just now thinking, did he give the Benz back and get his old car again? or is the ending just alluding to the beginning for a sense of completion?

he didn't have the mind to dispose his old car as he was so attached to it therefore he repaired and got it back while his benz is still there ( as we can see in the last scene benz is there along with their other 2 cars)
