I bought this uke two years ago. I seriously don't think you can get a better uke for the money. I am glad I got this one. It is well made, and fun to play. A humble and joyous instrument!

I have one of the Aklot Tenor Uke's and love it. I have a low G string on mine and absolutely love the sound. I highly recommend the Aklot... great Uke for the money!!!

You never can be sure buying without seeing the product "live" will not cause problems. I bought (the Tenor with the pickup and built in tuner) because of your recommendation. Wow, well pleased thank you.

This is a really nice review. I have the Aklot Concert and Soprano and I love them both. A joy to play. I have been thinking about getting the Tenor, so this video was great to be able to hear the Tenor. Thank you!

I enjoyed you video. Especially the part where you were up at 4am learning a 12 bar blues on the internet. Awesome. I bought an Aklot tenor and I love it. I have a very nice Kala also, but I feel like I can take the Aklot to parties and camping and not worry about it. Oh and it's a great little uke.

I have both this Aklot and a Kala, and I honestly believe this ukulele sounds better. It rivals the warmth of my cedar top Cordoba, and of all my ukes only the K'anilea sounds way better than this. I liked it so much that I bought a second one to string low G.

The strings that come on the uke are Aquilla nylgut. The extra set they sent with the uke are not branded, so who knows. They are also not marked as to which string is which. My uke is played every day for two years now and the original strings still sound good.

I enjoyed your review. BTW, I also watched that video on the blues progression in C by Avery Hill. It was wonderful and really easy to pick up. It gave me a big boost in confidence.

Thanks Jeremy, I am teaching the Princess music starting with ukulele. Going for a tenor next. We just picked up a nice kmise banjolele great quality about $70 total cost. Going to order an aklot 😃 thanks again 🌹 🌹

got mine!! :-D had to figure out how to change the strings cos the ones provided with the uke are really bad. I ordered the Aquila red series tenor strings...realllly good, much better. It's hard to go from concert to tenor, finger stretch!! :-O

I have just bought a Aklot tenor ukelele the AKET26 Electric I have found it absalutly fantastic I carn,t wait to get into some songs.I am going to a learners night when she opens it soon.untill then I go and watch the group she is in.Hopefully with some practice I will be able to join them. One thing I have learned is I am told is,DON,T PRACTICE for to long or you will get fed up and loose interest.They say about half an hour a day is enough.You will find that you will end up doing a bit longer than that . I DO. I am also learning the guitar, But I am torn toward the UKE now hope what I have said Helps. Iv,e looked at loads of UKS . You won,t go wrong with the AKLOT like mine GOOD LUCK.

@Kimberley There is "four" types of oil that I recommend for the fretboard to chose from.. as in just "one". And you do this once you get the ukulele and then "once" a year after that. Old English Lemon oil, Food grade Mineral oil (found in hardware store for butcher blocks), Boiled Linseed oil, and also F-One Nomad's oil (fretboard conditioner) which is made with some "nut oil" and is more natural, however know that it seems to not last as long on the fretboard as the other that I have mentioned. I write and record commercially licensed music under performance rights organization, BMI, Inc as a songwriter/music composer. I also setup and maintain all my acoustic and electric instruments over the past 20+ years. I hope that is helpful.

Does this tenor ukulele have a low g? Or a high g? I saw in one yt vid that tenor ukulele usually have a high g and that its better to have a low g... im planning to buy a tenor aklot ukulele... if you can give me an advice about that.. itd be great... thanks

This one comes with a high g. I personally prefer high g because I like a more bright and jangly tone.

they are i bought a akolt concert one and they are genuine Aquila supernylgut strings they sond amazing and the vibratto that this uke has is phenomenal. It also has a very warm sound to it.
