AKMU - 'DINOSAUR' M/V (REACTION!!!)

This is about them and their family and what they had to go trough growing up, they were really poor and even ended up homeless for a time so they went to live in Mongolia for a while, they even didn't went to school when they were living there, in Korea somehow there's a term about dinosaurs and they call dinosaurs to creditors or kinda like a gang entering your house and asking or taking whatever you have to pay your debts, those "creditors" were stalking their family for money and he used to have bad dreams about it, now he is rich and she's stable (he has more money thanks to royalties since he is a composer) they are saying that if those dinosaurs came back they will scream louder than them and they won't let those dinosaurs touch their family again. They have a lot of sad stories growing up since they were not insiders when they were teenagers, they have songs talking about how they were kinda bullied by their looks since they are not really into korean standards of beauty and whatever so maybe that's why he put those bullying scenes too.

Knowing the story behind this song, the lines "You roared at my family. If I see you again, I will shout louder than you " always gives me chills & bring me to tears. They really made it. Their songs bring healing and strength to those struggling. One of my top AKMU songs, no doubt.

Actually this is not true.. the song is not about their family.. they told it themselves. Chanhyuk said it was just about his dream of dinosaur.. 😂But they give freedom to all listener to make their interpretation.

I am adding it on my playlist. And yes. Dinasour is a double meaning . Basically its their childhood and chanhyuk wrote dinasour as a metaphore of debt collectors who trashed their house when they still kids. If represents fear and how that fear is really big like a dinasour ... Also he used to have bad dreams which he also mention in the song.. "i dreamt of Dinasour" which means nightmares.. also in the song he follows with that fear is not everything .. its not as big as he thought when he a kid . AKMU songs have a deeper meaning then it shows and people often ignore it. FYI Alien -suhyun is actually a song to her mother...

This song is a BOP, is one of my favs ever!! The live version is even more MAJESTIC, i think if im not wrong, this song tell the history of their family, the hard time they passed, like poverty, being in debt, getting bullied on school etc.

So Hyun's voice is sooo angelic and chanhyuk has such soothing voice. The snow at the end is not snow actually. It is ash when the dinosaur extinction happened. Meteor crashed the Earth, a huge amount of ash covered the sky, and all the dinosaurs died you know. The ending scene shows there is no dinosaur(hardship) in their life anymore
