Beautiful performance! However, Dzenawo of Atiavi preceded Akpalu but Akpalu became more well-known and famous because he travelled throughout Ghana, Togo and Benin forming Akpalu groups and teaching them his songs. Some of the songs performed here are Dzenawo songs not Akpalu’s composition. Good job though! ❤

For the records, Akpalu is not the originator of this music Mama Dzenawo of Atiavi has been established as the patent owner of Atigo. Akpalu trained under Dzenawo and named his band Agoha.
