Antes de tudo, um salve pro Sabota! Actually, the idea of Rap being a compromise means (or at least i know it meant for a lot of people too) that Rap and Hip Hop were alternatives for life style, a compromise that gave the chance to keep distance from crimes and a lot of illegal issues that permeate the favelas. Same with brazillian funk. Not saying that the favela folk have only the crime as life style, but it was one more chance for dudes to transform their lives into a mission of tough accusations on Big County outskirts realities, bringing attention on that, AND at the same time, it was a COMPROMISE with a second chance and a new life.

When you say that Sabotage had a flow that would dominate the scene today, in the beats of contemporary music, you are totally right. Daniel Ganjaman, a producer who worked with Sabotage in his lifetime and also produced much of what we have of best in Brazilian Hip Hop, used some old Sabotage recordings never published, invited other producers and made a posthumous Sabotage album with beats from different eras rap, including trap. I really recommend listening to "Sabotage" 2016, you already heard one of the tracks, "Canão foi tão bom" that's actually a remix.
