2. Every degree in Fahrenheit that the temperature goes up, the air holds 4% more moisture (try denying the basic, easily demonstrated physics of what I just wrote). So, damaging rain falls around the edges of heat domes line the one hammering the Northeast right now. 2. After this flooding, insurance companies will double or quadruple premiums, or just leave people without any insurance at all. Economies crash when insurance markets crash. 3. The cost of the damage being done by tornadoes, hailstorms, and floods in the Midwest; rising seas an SC more damaging storms along coastlines, fires in Western North America, Australia, Southern Europe, the deadly heat and droughts in SE Asia and the Middle East, are all costs that citizens must bear. Oil companies are making record profits, yet citizens are losing homes and businesses! Those losses are a tax that oil companies are placing upon regular people. The Saudis, the US, Russia, Shell, Exxon, etc. don’t care how many of your children die, so long as oil CEOs and stockholders get rich, and politicians get their bribes!

Please raise your hand, if you ever voted for a politician who promised to fight climate change. If not, get a boat.

Frog Pond, Iowa. Cute name. The water should disappear over the next few days. It rained cats and dogs here in Wisconsin..the water needs to go somewhere south of us.
