I've been to over 25 countries and I keep coming back to Akron. It's the best little big town I know!

Akron is the little city that tries. It works and works to be a better place and never gives up.

maybe the crime, the lack of public funding to to the mass migration of middle class families out of the city, the collapsing infrastructure that the budget cant afford to fix due to loss of too many middle and high income families to other cities, the absolute garbage education numbers, lack of good employment, realistically the only thing akron has going for it these days is Akron University, and even that cant save a city living off the accomplishments of the past but implementing policies of the future it simply can't afford. in other words, if you are bound and determined to live in that part of ohio, go live in Stow, Cuyahoga Falls, Tallmadge, Fairlawn, Copley, Bath, Silver Lake, etc.

Not to be negative but too much clique crap in Akron. As a life long resident of Akron this video doesn't really capture the essence of the city
