I warmly recommend everyone to buy the new cd "Light Divine" (Signum Classics), the second collection of songs performed by Aksel, at his peak of performance before the change of voice. His musicality astonishes like the beauty of his voice. On all the air "Alla caccia", which leaves us speechless. I heard a lot of boy voices, but Aksel has no equal ... To have absolutely, together with the first fantastic cd.

Very nice, Aksel. Your voice has changed well, and it sounds even better than the Popageno aria from a few months ago. Your speaking voice has a nice deep sound too. I wish there were more to listen to, but I am sure you will post whatever you can with your baritone voice. As easy as the change seems to have gone, I wonder if you will even become a bass, maybe something like Giorgio Tozzi with his beautiful lyric bass. God has been very good to you.

It’s a great production, I think it always is with the Children’s Chorus in the Oslo Opera. It’s funny (although a bit childish, of course), and the music is very singable!

It’s such a long process with rehearsals and changes, so it’s always very satisfying to finally get to the premiere. Also, rehearsing for this opera together with 80 talented children is a lot of fun :) Many of them I have known for years.
