Slight correction: at 3:40 Moth does actually get EMPed, but the Valk helps keep him alive and secure the fight in the end, so the EMP was still countered.

Shock played like trash for most of the match is the big one. Not to take credit from Outlaws at all, but if you watch Super's POV, especially Lijiang, it's like he's throwing. Multiple fights in a row he dies going for a fire strike at low hp instead of holding shield and dies for no reason. Like, bruh, you're good at the hero, what are you doing. Tbf he acknowledged on stream that he played like ass.

i dont think akshon and owl have the best relationship, remember how akshon used to do game highlights? owl then stopped them bc it was taking views from the full games on their channel.

@@viraajgupta6047 actually its quite the opposite. They just dont put the “x Akshon” in the titles anymore, but I believe both OWL and Akshon still work closely in making official OWL highlights. Search the channel “Overwatch League Highlights” and you’ll see all the thumbnails have Akshons icon on them

Most of the time pressing q before Emp is the worst thing you might do tbh. Sombra cancels all ults except for the ones that include some kind of transformation.

Something cool about Transcendence vs Sound Barrier, because I STILL hear a lot of people say they're basically the same thing... Transcendence counters sustained damage, so if you get GravDragon, it will outright counter the combo, however, Sound Barrier does NOT counter this combo. Sound Barrier counters burst damage, so if you activate it versus a Rip-Tire at the right time, you effectively absorb ALL the damage done by the Rip-Tire. So you look at it this way with DPS ultimates... What does Transcendence counter? Death Blossom, Dragonstrike, Molten Core, Tactical Visor, BOB, and Blizzard. What does Sound Barrier counter? Configuration Tank, Meteor Strike, Dragonblade, Rip-Tire, Pulse Bomb, and Barrage. You can use one to counter some of the others sometimes, like Transcendence for Dragonblade or Sound Barrier for Blizzard, but when against a DPS that KNOWS how to use their ultimates well, they can't counter them effectively. With Dragonblade a Genji can slice through a Transcendence even without Nano-Boost, and focus fire can quickly burn down a frozen target in Blizzard even with a Sound Barrier.

A good counter to hammonds ult is to use Reinhardt’s shield and walk into it, you’ll lose around 100 health but as long as you’re being healed you can completely cancel his ult as rein. (Sigma barrier works but not as well)

Had a few games last night where the enemy team had Nanoblade, multiple times, and we had Ana Mercy instead of Lucio or Zenyatta. Our Zarya never tried for a grav on their Genji either. Hopefully this vid teaches some people that those ults are almost necessary to counter some OP combos, and Gravving a team to stop their ult combo is worth it.

I actually pulled off a counter play one time as Roadhog when an enemy Winston switched on his Primal Rage. I activated Whole Hog on him, put him in a corner, and practically choked the life out of him, knowing that his displacement potential was too dangerous. The rest of the team was pushing back the others hardcore, so it was a successful counter-kill. Unfortunately, he got salty and "called me out" for solo-ulting. Little did he know that I did it for the team and not for selfish murder.

Surprised you didn't mention EMP as a Counter Ult with its potential to stop other ults; I think at one point you've shown a microplay where one EMP cancels 3 enemy Ults at once against the Shock (Flux, Tire and Bongo) though I can't remember who the Sombra was playing for

It is easier to explain with an example. So let’s say a reaper drops Down on ana and the Cree stuns the reaper or the dva matrixes it. It saves the Ana and helps her keep up the heals. Lower ranked players complain about heals because they probably don’t understand what is causing the lack of heals
